QUARTER-LIFE TESTIMONIALS

Henry, 26

I had reached a junction in my life where I needed a trained pair of eyes to guide me through the difficult decision of what I wanted to do with my life. Chloe’s methods have made me see my past and future in a clear and honest way that has allowed me to be less daunted, more positive and more excited about the next step.

Joyce, 24

It was a great pleasure meeting and working with you. Thanks for listening more than the words I said, making me feel comfortable and accepted. You have the gift of intuition and a passion for helping people.

Harry, 22

I would like to thank Chloe for everything she has done to help me find a direction: I left coaching with a change in mindset, a newfound confidence and self belief. I would recommend Chloe to everyone I know, and am so grateful for her help and support.

Career coaching with Chloe is exactly what I needed. In the past any career advice was law orientated. Whilst law is what I major, in we didn’t focus on that. The coaching helped me explore my interests and discover what I’m truly passionate about. Furthermore, her approach was to get me to research jobs and see if they correspond with my strengths and values, rather than seeing if I fitted into the mould of a job. This has forever changed my perspective and has changed how I will proceed with job searching.

Lucy (24)

For me it was a chance to better know myself. I think for anyone that is feeling daunted by the idea of career and unsure of where they are going then this is such a great thing to do. It has given me confidence and a better understanding of myself that I hope will help me progress and deal with situations as and when they arise throughout my career. It was such a worthwhile experience. Thanks Chloe.

Rose (26)

I would definitely recommend the coaching to anyone. In fact, I already have! I would tell even those who have decided on a career path that the discovery of your values and strengths, that the coaching permits, is invaluable

Thomas (27)

From our conversations I got more clarity and sense of direction, and what was most important for me to prioritise. It's always lovely speaking to Chloe. She listens attentively and asks the right sorts of questions to get to the essence of the matter when my thoughts might be muddled up. Her observations and suggestions are very insightful and helpful. It was a pleasure to work with you!

Justin (29)

I now have a better idea of a tangible range of careers I can look into, and what I might need to work on if I decided to get into them. I also have a better understanding of myself and my own working style. Quarter-life coaching is great for sorting out your career priorities, whilst also giving you a range of flexible pathways to travel down.

Elyssa (25)

Regardless of where you are in terms of your own career, and if you feel at all unsatisfied, unclear, unmotivated about your future; the coaching is the perfect remedy to get you consciously thinking about who you are and what you want to do in this world.

James (21)

It was a great pleasure meeting and working with you. Thanks for listening more than the words I said, making me feel comfortable and accepted. You have the gift of intuition and a passion for helping people. I am glad you're a coach.

Joyce

I found it supportive and liberating. Chloe allowed me to say my fears without making me feel silly but was also actually analysing what it was that was stopping me reach my full potential. Chloe allowed me to talk through what I wanted to achieve in life and was able to break it down into small steps so I could achieve them each week. As I was speaking to her each week, I felt it made me accountable to achieving things and not putting them off.

Jennifer (30)

Finding a careers coach was very daunting for me, I didn’t want to feel like I needed the help, but I am so glad that I found Chloe. I had "shopped around” a bit before, and whilst they were all lovely and I’m sure would have been helpful in their own way, none of them were quite as in-tune with where I was in my journey as Chloe. Working with Chloe enabled me to find out what it really was that I was scared of and holding back from and why. In doing this I was able to unlock myself from illogical thoughts and start to explore what it was I wanted. Through carefully structured sessions and intuitive, thoughtful questioning from Chloe we found out what it is that I want to spend the next part of my life doing, a thought that had terrified me, but Chloe made it so much easier, there was no pressure and no wrong answers, just an accountability and responsibility for my own small tasks between sessions. Chloe is skill-full, she has lots of tricks, methods and guides to find the answers that we don’t know are there. Thank you Chloe, you’ve been invaluable.

I would like to thank Chloe for everything she has done to help me find a direction: I left coaching with a change in mindset, a newfound confidence and self belief. For anyone thinking about coaching, I think it can be extremely helpful to talk to someone who you don't know, who holds an objective view on your life, but it was especially beneficial to talk to Chloe. She is patient, easy to talk to, a great listener and knows exactly the right thing to say and when to say it. I would recommend Chloe to everyone I know, and am so grateful for her help and support. She really is very good at what she does!

Coaching sessions provide a space for reflection with a professional versed in guiding this process at the client’s discretion. In other words, I was presented with a luxury that most adolescents my age and even adults well into their careers have never been provided with: the opportunity to talk with a trained professional whose interests are purely in service of helping me achieve what I want out of the session. For me specifically, it was to achieve a sense of clarity regarding what my values were and how to use these to evaluate and prioritise my first year as a graduate. After this experience, I would recommend this to anybody regardless of age or career position, as the merits go beyond simply informing one’s career choice. I make this recommendation on the premise that having one hour, every other week to speak with someone who has no interest other than your own search for clarity is beneficial for anyone. However, coaching would be particularly helpful for someone who is at a crossroads in their life or aware that the absence of an unbiased person to speak with in their life is clouding their ability to make decisions for their own benefit.

I wanted to have the ammunition to move on in my career from advertising, but had a million and one ideas of what to do, and no direction! Through coaching I was able to put them all on the table, no judgement, and work through them. I actually applied for a Master's halfway through coaching, which I never thought I'd do, and I've been accepted which is great 🙂 for building history! Which is a world away from advertising. I also handed in my notice in my current job which I'm also thrilled about. Besides all that, it was good to do some personal discovery, I feel like I picked up some life skills around strengths, values etc, which I can take away with me moving forwards, which I'm really excited to do! I 100% recommend it. If you're not sure what direction you should move in, and also sure that you definitely want to make a change, then I had a great experience talking everything through with someone who had all the tools, equipment and skills to guide me towards making a good choice. I feel much more positive now about the direction my career is going in, and I probably wouldn't have got there without your help!

I decided to pursue Life Coaching as I had just turned twenty-five and was in the midst of a "quarter life crisis". I was drifting between jobs and was unsure of how to make a reasoned and educated decision about my next career step(s) and how to achieve what I was searching for - "fulfilment" in my career and a sense of direction and purpose. Chloë introduced me to the idea of value driven careers employing different frameworks, concepts and methods. These exercises helped me to understand what components were important for achieving "fulfilment", as well as identifying my skills set, my values, and my preferences. The powerful combination of a greater understanding of "self" and a framework for achieving "career fulfilment" has given me the conviction to undertake a career change. I have the conviction and knowledge to know that my next career steps are measured and will compliment who I am and what I want to achieve.

I've just finished my degree isolating with my family, back at home. This has really unsettled my plans, as I had expected to be able to pick up pub work to tie me over in London until I found what I wanted to do. Chloe has been really helpful in helping me to organise my thoughts. With her guidance, I feel far better equipped to search for a first-career step whilst stuck away from London. I'd highly recommend reaching out to Chloe for anybody who knows that they want to do something, but is unsure where or how to begin. Thanks for all your help!

I would highly recommend coaching - I think it has allowed me to think more about myself and explore different options in a positive and open environment. Chloe has been very helpful in her approach, support and resources. I would tell a friend to be open to trying it, as there's so many different ways it can help you.

Scarlett

I have a much clearer understanding of not just the industries and institutions I would wish to work in, but the types of responsibilities and roles I would find my self relishing in. Alongside that a positive, active and overall better understanding of what a career entails. Not characterised by self-doubt and fear but surprisingly - and I try not to cringe - one of excitement. Also a better understanding of what makes me tick as a person. What are my true interests, core values and under what circumstances do I and don’t I thrive. Definitely have gained a more holistic way in approaching networking and finding out more about careers I would be interested in pursuing. Lastly, just some really needed structure and markers in the kind of career path I wish to take, but really happy in fact that it is not all planned out.

Yan (24)

I’ve always refrained from seeking a personal coach, as lots of expectations often rose up on my mind from what I would have liked my experience to be like, but when I finally did the step to look out for a trustworthy, caring, and helpful coach, Chloe instantaneously felt like the coach I’ve always been wishing for. From our first session I could sense her genuine care and openness about my path until then, and the path I wished to build out of the coaching experience. Through her visibly pure interest about my goals and obstacles, Chloe supported me in finding clarity and trust in my potential, which has been key during the sessions to let me open up and gain strength, so to find determination in what my initial aim was. Attentive, smart, and with eye/mind-opening exercises, Chloe helped me to map out all of my strengths, skills, and wishes, to later on channel them back towards a given result that I couldn’t see by myself. Such experience and discovery is leading me today towards a more relaxed approach for my future career, now that I better know who I am, what I stand for, and what I want to create. All of this has been thanks to Chloe’s passionate love for coaching, for unlocking someone’s potential and lead them on the path they’ve been wishing for. She surely has a special place in this life-journey I’ve embarked, which is now bringing me to the realisation of dream projects I’ve been wanting to do since a long time. Extremely grateful to have met Chloe - I couldn’t wish for a better coach 🙂 Thanks!

Chloe is very committed to get what works out of you; in today's session she organised our time masterfully, as she always does, and she provided me with images about what I was saying which were more accurate than my own words. She guides me through maps and realistic lists of impactful actions (which I adore), but most of all, she keeps the whole picture in check all the time and doesn't get lost into the single session or the single interaction (which would be easier for her, and unhelpful to me). She won't drop you after the session is over, without having made the point. Thank you!

Paola

Working with Chloe helped me to finally realise what I am looking for out of a career and in life, and we’d already figured that out by the first session! Her incredible insight and knowledge in teaching me how to use my passions and skills to create a tangible action plan has been truly invaluable.

Henry

Alice (21)

Chloe was great at sharing information with me that was genuinely very helpful and gratefully received. Chloe's coaching style is warm, attentive with a very positive attitude. As a result, I've felt a greater amount of self esteem going into work meetings with high profile colleagues, which have resulted in me being calmer, more relaxed and more confident being myself. I have had a few decent work related opportunities crop up which I like to think is in part due to me being more confident in my own skin. Thank you so much for all your help. It has made a really big impact on me and my life so far. You are a really wonderful coach and I'm very lucky to have been at the right place at the right time to be coached by you.

Naomi

I learnt a great deal about myself, especially what values I have and how I need those values to be applied to my line of work. I learnt that putting yourself out there and meeting people is a good thing, and people generally are not going to be negative when you try and do this. The key thing that I learnt is that being passionate about something is the factor that is going to make you different from everyone else, so if you just focus on what you are passionate about and throw everything into that, then everything else will fall into place. I would say that if you are feeling a bit lost and don’t know what you want to do next, then this is the perfect thing for you. It’s not anything intimidating or boring, it is something that will just help you find out more of who you are and the industry / job you are best for.

Rosie

Coaching gave me a better perspective of how to look at my professional career as a whole. I felt that throughout the sessions i developed a better understanding of how my own priorities, values and morals that can lead me to find the career that best suits me. I would 100% reccomend doing this (already have actually) Would tell them that its much broader/philosophical approach to finding out what you want to do with your life, not just what job you want full stop.

Dave

Scarlett

By the end of the coaching I signed up to an internship to see whether the path I am set on currently is the “right fit” for me. I feel fairly confident in what I would like to pursue, knowing that it does not have to be an everlasting position/ career choice. I feel more comfortable exploring different “possible” career paths as I know they will not hinder my ambitions overall. I gained more confidence in my choices and learned to analyse options differently. Not taking the (pressure/) opinions of others on board as much and keeping myself from over analysing possible “worst case scenarios” into every choice. Realised things did not have to permanent furthermore helped me feel more comfortable with day to day decisions regarding organisation, work and the future. Lastly, the realisation that the end goal does not have to be the first step (ladder) but rather that the first step will be a very small but significant movement toward the goal helped me not feel so “stuck/ slow” all the time. I would definitely recommend this to most first year students and even the students from the years above. This experience is really worthwhile for anyone who is even the slightest bit unsure about their work, has any issues getting organised and/or just possesses a growth mindset. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who wants to improve to learn how to achieve their goal / get where they want to be.

Marie-Therese

Just to say thank you again for being such an amazing coach! I can honestly say it has been one of the most valuable, interesting and life affirming experiences I have had. I know I will take what I have learnt with me for a long long time. In particular that the right choice doesn’t exist and the importance of at some point diving in. You clearly love coaching and it as so enjoyable to work with someone who has a passion for what they do. You are super intelligent which comes out in how well thought out the coaching programme is and also all your very insightful emails about existential thought. I feel so much more confident my the next steps will be in the right direction for me.
